✨ SPARKLE ROCK POP GLOSSARY ✨
Sparkle - The dictionary defines sparkle as "shine brightly with flashes of light" or "be vivacious and witty." We believe in sparkling inside and out!
Rock - We use this word in many ways; First, we love crystals and minerals so much we had to make sure they were represented in our name! Second, we use rock as an attitude or action! It's a way to show self-confidence!
Pop - Whether it be a bright color or a new crystal that is adding good vibes to your life, we believe in adding a pop of anything into your life whenever you can!
SRP - Sparkle Rock Pop
Intro to Wellness - This is one of our blog series. Think of it as a beginner's guide to wellness and holistic ideas. We'll be teaching you things like… how to use crystals to your benefit, how to cleanse a person with sage, how to build a crystal grid, how to use self-care tools to decrease stress, etc. This series is all about helping wellness wannabes become wellness pros :)
DI4Y - Remembering to take some time for yourself can be tough. Our DI4Y, aka "Do It For Yourself" blog series, encourages you to set aside a handful of minutes for yourself and try out a variety of homemade recipes & wellness aids that will make you feel good - inside & out!
Energy - Think of it as emotional, physical, psychological, and spiritual vibrations that not only fill you up but follow you around too.
To Cleanse (aka Clear, Smudge) - Sometimes our energy/vibrations might be running on a lower frequency than normal, due to a number of things like work, stress, relationships. The act of cleansing/clearing involves removing unwanted energy that may be lingering around - whether it's the energy within you, a room, home, office, etc.
There are specific tools that cleanse and clear energy. The most commonly recommended tools include sage, palo santo, and sweetgrass. They all work to kick whatever vibes your feeling to the curb, so you can make room for bringing happiness, love, and kindness in your life.
Metaphysical Properties - of or relating to the transcendent or to a reality beyond what is perceptible to the senses // of or relating to things that are thought to exist but that cannot be seen. **Note, crystal healing meanings are meant to be a spiritual support to healing; they are not meant to be prescriptions or healthcare information.
